Invisalign™
How Does The Invisalign Process Work?
If we determine that you are a good candidate for Invisalign treatment, we will start by doing a thorough examination and consultation. During this appointment, we will update any x-rays needed and take impressions and photos of your mouth. After discussing what improvements we would like to make, we will develop a treatment plan. Invisalign will provide a 3-D model of these movements, allowing us to determine the likely length of treatment and to see a prediction of your final results. If you decide to proceed, your custom aligners will be crafted.
How Does Wearing Invisalign Work?
Upon delivery of your aligners, you may need to have small tooth-colored attachments placed on some teeth. The recommended time to wear your aligners is 22 hours per day to stay on track with the planned movements. We will discuss how frequently you will need to change aligners and return to the office to check on how the treatment is progressing. Invisalign treatment can often be adjusted or modified at any point in treatment to ensure that you have the best possible outcome.
